Kimbolton
Kimbolton village centre is just a 7-10 minute walk from The Old Stables. This historic market town is steeped in history dominated by Kimbolton Castle now a private school once home to Catherine of Aragon and the seat of the Dukes of Manchester. The villages local amenities include a small supermarket, chemist, post office, flower shop, gift shops, coffee shops and 2 public houses.
Grafham Water
Grafham Water is England's third biggest reservoir nestled in 1500 acres of beautiful countryside. Offering 9 miles of waterside trails for cycling or walking; fishing, sailing and watersports; Fabulous for birdwatching, nature and wildlife, or just relaxing with a picnic in this idyllic location makes it a great day out for anyone. Just a 15 - 20 minutes in the car from Wornditch Farm, or a 30 - 45 minute cross country cycle.
Cambridge
Just 40 minutes drive from Wornditch Farm is the university town of Cambridge. Enjoy a day out walking the historic streets, shopping, punting on the river or taking in some of the numerous cultural events on offer.
Stanwick Lakes
Stanwick Lakes is a 750 acre countryside attraction and nature reserve located 11.2 miles form Wornditch Farm. There are extensive play areas, open spaces and paths for families, walkers, cyclists and nature lovers. The visitor centre, with café, shop and function space, hosts events, family celebrations, business meetings and craft workshops throughout the year.
