The Mulberry Room - Bedroom 1
The Mulberry room features a beautiful carved wooden kingsize bed, luxury velvet curtains and bedding. This spacious room has ample storage including bed side drawers, a large chest of drawers, a tall boy and a double wardrobe. The bedroom has double glazed wooden doors leading into the hall.
The Blueberry Room - Bedroom 2
A large light spacious Blueberry room holds a stylish king size oak four poster bed. Luxury bedding for comfort. Large chest of drawers, bedside cupboards and double wardrobe. Hairdryer provided.
Kitchen
This large elegant country kitchen is fully stocked with all essential cutlery, crockery, and cookware. Including a 6 burner/double oven gas cooker, large fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, washing machine, tumble dyer, iron & ironing board. The central island offers a breakfast bar dining option other than the more formal dining area. Tea, Coffee and Sugar are provided.
The Old Stable kitchen looks through double glazed patio doors onto the pretty courtyard.
Lounge & Dining Room
The Old Stables has a very comfortable yet large lounge with a television and a dining area with ample space for 6 people to dine.
The two windows look out onto the courtyard garden.
There is good WiFi access throughout The Old Stables.
Bathroom
The bathroom offers a bath, over bath shower, sink and toilet. Our quality towels and toiletry essentials are provided for your stay.
Toiletries
Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and hand soaps are provided in our Old Stables refillable bottles. We choose Faith in Nature quality natural products for your stay.
Courtyard Garden
Our private pretty courtyard garden is available for guests to use during their stay. There is a simple set of wooden garden furniture for outdoor eating on the lawn for those warmer days.
There is plenty of parking too.
Wornditch Farm
The Old Stables sits next to the main house a grade two listed building of local importance. Now a family home and treasured property.
Wornditch Farm is situated just outside Kimbolton village and offers the tranquility of the countryside with an abundance of wildlife.
Guests are welcome to enjoy the private paddocks at the front of the property for walking and excercise at the right time of year the blackberries are welcome for picking.
Linen
Our quality bed linen and towels are provided for your stay. All our linen is washed at high temperatures using ecologically sound plant based detergents.
Breakfast Basket
A welcome complementary breakfast basket including fresh milk, butter and pastries awaits our guests on day one of their stay. We try and support local producers where possible.
Shopping Locally
Kimbolton has a local Budgens supermarket, pharmacy with post office and enticing clothes and gift shops. As well as coffee shops, bakery a beautiful flower shop. All a five minute walk from The Old Stables.
